Amen! The main line area has a handful of great boutiques. Someday, when my kids are out of the wrecking ball stage, I plan to join Haven in this experience. Some of her favorites are CoCo Blue and Louella.
If you don’t already know this supermom, it is my pleasure to introduce you to Haven.

Describe your style in less than 5 words: Classic and Comfortable.
Where would you wore the outfit you wore in the shoot? I felt like dressing up for this! I’d wear this to any summer party! Just wore it the first time to an engagement party this past Saturday night, but I’d also wear it to dinner at a country club or even casual wedding.
Wearing:
Dress (sold out Dayton K, but similar here) | Shoes | Bag
What is the most worn item in your closet: I love cashmere wraps from Lily Pulitzer. I wear them all the time. Cashmere is lightweight so it can be worn all year long.
All time favorite pair of jeans? I love these skinny jeans from Nordstrom. I got my first pair last year and they have been the only blue jeans that I wear. They have a lot of stretch so if I am playing with the kids or going out with friends, they just seem to work. I am all about comfort. (and, psst you guys, they are only $25!!!)
Who is your style icon? Olivia Palermo. She has great style. Her style is classic but she takes risks with accessories.
What is the best piece of advice you heard. That we don’t need to the best at everything. I don’t even think it would be ever possible anyway….
There is always someone who is going to be willing to give up everything to pursue one aspect of their life. I don’t need to be the best at anything, I just need to be really good at the things that matter to me. When you are juggling a career and a family, you think that you need to be the best at everything and I think that it only leads to frustration. Your setting yourself up for failure. My goal is to be really good at work and really good at home and if I can do that, that is more than enough for me.
What’s on your bucket list? I decided that once the children are older, we are going to take a three week cross country trip to see the US. I didn’t get to travel a lot when I was younger so that is one thing that I would like to do now that I can and also I want to share it with my children.
What is one thing you wish you knew when you were younger? I wish that I was more confident in my abilities. I wish that I focused more on my skills then areas where I wasn’t that good. I believe that we all have unique gifts and skills or things that we naturally love. It’s those things that we should focus on because they will lead us down the right path.
Go-to weeknight dinner that everyone loves ? Everyone seems to like quesadillas at my house. I add chicken to mine and my husbands but the kids just like cheese. Its easy and seems to be something everyone likes.
Favorite way to stay in shape? Play tennis. It’s fun, social and a great workout.
What personal goal do you have for yourself? My goal for this year is try get better at time blocking -scheduling out my life so that I can spend time with work, family and friends…..and then not try and do a little of all three at the same time. I am really bad at checking emails when I am spending time with my children and it’s an area in my life that I really want to improve. I think that it goes back to the thought that we need to be really great at everything so we try and do everything at once. But what I really think happens it that we are being less effective as a whole and the people that are left spending time with us feels like we aren’t even there. Do one thing well at one time.
Couldn’t agree more! It’s hard to juggle it all and I know personally at times I also feel stretched thin. We are all just doing the best that we can. Haven, thank you for letting me feature you and I’m looking forward to seeing what’s in store with Mainline Haven!
